58 - The New American Dream

The old American dream is a job, partner, dog, and house.

I think the new American dream is a job, business, and partner. I don't think houses are necessary as you end up paying nearly double the price of the loan on the house. This means, if a house cost $300,000 due to the interest, you end up paying nearly $600,000. I believe it's ok to rent even if you don't end up owning anything. Then you can move if you get a new job or get a new partner that lives somewhere else. Essentially, you have more flexibility renting.

If you have a job, I would recommend going through my BUILD-A-BUSINESS program to get your own company up and running. Check it out below.
